A Mother First

“Beautiful and simply amazing”

For as long as I can remember, my mother has played both parental roles in my life with also making my siblings and I, feel like normal. She has made me push harder to reach my goals and for that, I’m truly grateful. She amazes me everyday with her strong will and courage to make everyday count. Most days she’s working to take care of me, the only bird left in the nest. The rest of the time, she’s making the

last couple of months I have with her, the most memorable before I go off to college. I’ve watched her grow as a person and as a mother. I’ve seen her weaknesses, strengths, raw emotion and pain when things got tough. I’ve seen her at her happiest and cry her best tears.

She’s a friend, a role model, a counselor and a phenomenal woman. She’s my mother.
